‘The hands want to see, the eyes want to caress.’ – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

‘Visual Tactility’ ____I believe in the power of the senses. When I was alone in an empty house, I connected with many objects that helped me to overcome what it is that could have been lonesome. The difficulty to give the tangled-up emotions has a name, but we can’t express feelings with such a limited language.

We walk through life, carrying this bundle of emotions, trapped within the limits of this so called, language. That’s why, I visualize the emotions that can’t be resolved, through words. I release them visually, by releasing them, I try. I just want to say that, just feel it with your eyes, that's enough.

“Flowers bloom on every boundary."

It is the forefront of me, or the being's that surrounds my body, the brain, including the five organs inside, and distinguishes it, from myself outside.

Our five senses are the gates distributed in the skin. As long as they are fucntioning, the gates operate as we cannot avoid repeated cycles of opening and closing. So, while we are still alive, we are closed but openned at the same time by enclosing us.

The moment an object is condensed into 'it (ness)', it opens as 'not it'. As soon as the bud that tightly aggregates the energy of life is completed, it opens up as a flower showing it's new form. The bud is destroyed and leaps into a new life. this transformation happens on a branch; to belong to something greater.

The skin is not dependent. It should be understood that the skin is an extension of the brain, and the brain is opened.

'The essence is in the skin' (From Minato Chihiro, 『Thinking Skin』)
